With its central point the City of Port Elizabeth, the Eastern Cape is the 2nd largest Province and a family destination by excellence: famous for its pristine beaches and watersports (surf in Jeffrey’s Bay, Kite Surf in Sardinia Bay, water ski in St Francis, encounter with the dolphins in Port Elizabeth), the National Park of Addo Elephant Park, and in particular its upmarket Private Game reserves home to the Big 5 (malaria free!), its various landscapes: from the arid Karoo to the lush Transkei, through the snowy slopes of the Drakensberg. Wild Coast:
The Wild Coast (named after the many shipwrecks that occurred on its shores) stretched over 250km in the Eastern part of the Eastern Cape, from East London to Port St John . An untamed world to be discovered.
Its immense desert beaches, its rivers and magnificent vegetation make it a privileged destination for Nature lovers. Nelson Mandela hails from this region. Traditional villages where time stood still with its huts scattered on the hills, home to the Chiefs and traditional healers. The Wild Coast is a paradise for fishing, canoeing, hiking , mountain biking and horse riding.
